Awnings are the perfect way to add a little style and personality to your home. They’re also great for protecting plants and furniture from the elements while providing easy access to your patio or deck
In this guide, I’ll show you how to install or remove an awning window with ease
Step 1: Prepare the Window Trac
The first step is preparing the window track for installation. This will make things much easier when it comes to installing your new awning window
Step 2: Remove Old Awning Windo
After removing the old awning window, you can begin installing your new one by following these steps
1. Using a pry bar, carefully remove one side of the glass pane at a time. Be careful not to damage the frame during this process
2. Once both sides are removed, set them aside in case you need them later on during installation or removal efforts
3. Use long-nose pliers to grip each corner of each new piece of glass that you have just removed from the frame while aligning it with the edge of its corresponding hole in the frame so that it stays perfectly aligned as you install it into place
