Replacing RV window awning fabric is a simple and easy DIY project. Here's how to do it

Remove the old awning fabric from the windows. This can be done by simply lifting the fabric up, then removing it from the window frame

Measure your new awning fabric against your RV window frame and cut it to fit. Be sure to match up the measurements with those found on your manufacturer's website or in their installation instructions. If you're not sure what size you need, measure your existing awning fabric and choose a size that is close enough to fit but still allow for some stretching and shrinking over time as you wash it in the sun and rain. It also helps if you make sure that your neighbors don't mind if their plants get wet during this process

Stick down any loose threads in the back of your new awning fabric with clear tape (if there are any). You can also use clear packing tape or even duct tape if you want something stronger than clear tape. Make sure that all of these areas are sealed so that they don't fray or unravel later on

Cut off any excess material around each side of your new awning
