First off, you will need to take out the hinge plate from your bi-fold door. Then, take out the backstop and remove any screws that are holding it in place. Next, put some screws in the holes that were drilled into the hinge plate and attach them by screwing them through the wood. Once this is done, you can then install the new backstop and hinge plate into place

Once you have installed your new backstop and hinge plate into place, then you can move onto hanging your new bi-fold door! To do this, simply measure from where you would like to hang your door to where it needs to be hung from using a level or ruler so that when it is hung correctly it is level with each other side of the room.
