1. Remove the door from its frame by removing the small screws on either side of the frame and sliding the door out
2. Place a ruler or yard stick on the floor next to your door, then measure from one side of it to the other to find out where exactly you need to adjust it for optimal performance
3. Mark this spot with a pencil or pen, then use a level to make sure it's level (you may need an extra hand)
4. Reinstall your bi-fold door by sliding it back into place using only one screw (you don't want to tighten anything yet).
