To open a bi fold door, you must first measure the height of your door with a tape measure or ruler. If you have a single-leaf door, then simply measure the height from the floor to the bottom of the hinges
If you have double-leaf doors, then measure from top to bottom at each hinge and record this measurement for both sides of the door
Now that you have your measurements, you can begin opening your door. First open one side of the door and fold it into an L shape, so that there is actually two doors instead of one. Then open up both sides and place it on top of itself so that it is laying flat against your wall
Now that you have opened up your door, let's talk about how to close it again! Simply reverse what we just did. Fold back down and close each side until they meet in the middle again.
