The window itself is made of wood and glass, with a metal frame. It's a very simple design but it looks really nice and it feels sturdy. The window is 46" by 46", which is a standard size for most homes, so you can use it for any room that you want
I was impressed by how sturdy the window felt when I opened it up and looked inside. The glass panel inside has several layers of protection built into it, including two layers of laminated glass and an inner layer of reflective vinyl film. The metal frame is also well made and I've seen other people hanging their laundry on them without any problems
