1. Remove old window
2. Inspect existing frame to make sure it is level and parallel with other windows in your home. If not level or horizontal, adjust it so that it is level and parallel with other windows in your home
3. Remove old frame on interior side of window (the side that will face inside the house)
4. Install new frame on interior side of window (the side that will face inside the house)
5. Securely fasten all new parts using screws, nails or other fasteners as needed by manufacturer’s specifications or necessary to secure the new parts into place within their designated locations within the frame of your window unit or replacement set of frames if you are replacing an entire set of windows at once rather than just one window unit.)
