Old, chipped windows are a common problem for homeowners. If you have an old window that has developed a chip or crack, you can repair it with special products and techniques

The first step is to remove the old window so you can access the surface of the glass. You may need to remove lint or other materials that have adhered to the glass. Use a putty knife to carefully scrape off any debris from around the edges of your window

Step 2: Cleaning the Glass Surfac

Next, clean out any remaining debris from around your window with a damp cloth or soft brush. You should also try to clean out any dirt and dust that has built up inside your window frame so that it doesn't get on your newly repaired area when you replace it later on

Step 3: Sanding Down Excess Glas

Once all of this cleaning is done, it's time to sand down excess glass so that there are no rough edges left behind after you replace it later on. If necessary, use a hand sander or belt sander in order to achieve smooth results without damaging your original stained glass design
