How to Paint a Picture Window the Right Way

A picture window has dimensions of 1.40 m x 0.80 m (or more, depending on the glass used). Before we paint our window and get to work, let's figure out some measurements first

1. Measure from the top of the frame down to where you want your paintable surface to be on the floor. This will be your starting point for figuring out how high up your picture window needs to be painted

2. Measure from the bottom of the frame up to where you want your paintable surface to be on the ceiling. This will be your starting point for figuring out how high up your picture window needs to be painted

3. Measure from one side of your window (that is, where it meets a wall) down over all four walls so that you have enough room for painting at each end of your frame (see image below). This will help keep things simple since we'll need some space between each wall in order for our paint to dry properly after it's been applied - don't forget about this!
