First you need to get some plywood and some molding. Then use a router with a flush trim bit to cut out both pieces of molding and set them aside. Next, get your new wooden frame miter saw and cut out the opening in your old window so that it is 6 feet wide. Then mark where your hinges will go on each side of the opening so that you can drill holes in them for screws later on (I just used my drill press).
