The Andersen Flanker Window

It's not often that you see a window that combines two different kinds of frames, but it's even rarer to see two different frames combined together. Picture windows are typically made from glass, plastic or aluminum. In the world of window design, Andersen is a name that every home contractor and professional should know. I'm talking about Andersen Windows; they're the ones with the double hung sash windows, flanked by flush hung windows (or “fringers”). Picture windows offer an optical illusion effect when they're properly installed. When you look at any one pane of glass from one angle in isolation, you'll see just one image reflected back at you.
