I want to share a great idea for anyone who has been in a manufactured home and wants to convert a window into an exterior door. In this article I will go through the steps needed and give you a few tips on how to make it even easier for yourself
I am going to start off with the most important and difficult part: removing the window from its frame. This is where many people get stuck, so let's talk about it first
The first thing you need to do is remove the sash from your window frame. This can be done by simply pulling on it or using a screwdriver to pry it out. If you're having trouble getting it out, try using your hand instead of using tools or trying to bend them open (they will break)
Once you have removed the sash, you should now be able to see inside your window frame itself! You can then use a hammer and chisel or other tool of choice to remove any remaining parts such as screws holding your window down into place (they are often hidden under some type of sealant)
After this step, you should now have access inside your home's interior walls! Just remember not
